A postcard with a eulogy in Yiddish in memory of "Bloody Sunday" victims, January 9, 1905. On January 9, 1905 started the 1905 revolution during which Russian workers tried to overthrow the Tzar's regime. On that day hundreds were killed. Later on, the revolution was oppressed. Pinchas Rutenberg, the "old man from Naharayim", was one of the initiators of the "Bloody Sunday" demonstration.
Approx. 14X9 cm. Good condition. Some foxing. Postcard was not used.
