"Tzipor HaNefesh, a supplement for satire, humor etc", weekly magazine edited by Dan Ben-Amotz, Haim Hefer and Amos Keinan. Six non-consecutive issues. March-April 1965.
The satiric magazine "Tzipor HaNefesh" was issued in 1964 as a supplement to "Yediot Achronot" daily newspaper. The editors expressed left-wing views and offered extreme satire - more than common in other papers, which led finally to a decision by the paper's editorial to cancel the supplement in 1965. In response to this, Hefer, Keinan and Ben-Amotz decided to publish it as an independent paper (the title was changed every week, in view of a mandatory law which allowed publishing one issue only without a permit), but due to financial difficulties publication was discontinued a short while later. 6 issues, 12 pp. per issue. Ca. 42 cm. Condition varies.
