Two postcards with portraits of Theodor Herzl. [Palestine and Germany, first decades of the 20th century].
1. "Dr. T. Herzl" (Hebrew), a postcard with a portrait illustration of Herzl. "Bezalel" lithographic printing, [Jerusalem]. Handwritten dedication on verso, from 1911: "Souvenir from the Bezalel ball, the 30th of Kislev, the 6th of Hanukkah [December 31] 1910, Jerusalem".
9X14 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains. Creases and blemishes. Tear to margins, affecting the portrait.
2. Postcard combining a photograph of Herzl on the balcony of the Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois in Basel and photographs of sites in Jerusalem and its surroundings (the Western Wall, the Cave of the Patriarchs, the Tower of David, Bethlehem, Hebron and more). [Germany?].
Beneath Herzl's photograph, in a frame shaped like the Tablets of Stone, the caption "LeShana Tova" (Happy New Year) is printed.
