Two Shabbat and Memorial lamps (“Kandil”). 1. Mogador, [early 20th century]. Cut and engraved silver. Backplate is decorated with vegetal patterns; topped with a pair of chickens. Length: 26 cm, width: 14.5 cm. Side plates and the base are partly detached (lacking brackets). Silver plate, at base, is slightly broken. 2. Morocco, [late 19th / early 20th century]. Cut brass, hammered and embossed. Backplate is decorated with a bird cut out of a brass plate. Embossed geometric and vegetal patterns. Length: 30 cm., max. width: 14.5 cm. Good condition.
