Two Bedouin amulets, for infants and children. Palestine-Syria, [first half of 20th century].
Silver; silver coins; silver thread; beads; gemstones.
1. Amulet pendant. [Hebron Region]. Wolf tooth, enclosed within a silver band, from which three chains with silver coins are dangling. Approx. 9X3 cm.
2. Amulet to be suspended either from garment or from belt. Bundle of cotton thread onto which colored beads, a turquoise stone, coral beads, a wolf or hyena tooth, and other types of pendants are tied.
Approx. 8X4 cm.
