Two Torah Mantles.
1. Torah Mantle decorated with blue Tallit strips, made by Zion Talis, New-York, [ca. 1940s].
In the center - a colorful printing of the Dome of the Rock topped with a Star of David and two flags bearing the words "Tiferet" and "Zion" on both sides of the dome. Below the Star of David and above it appear inscriptions: "Tiferet Zion" / "If I forget Thee Oh Jerusalem… / Yibane HaMikdash". Floral decorations. The upper part of the mantle ends with a ribbon and golden fringes. Height: 73 cm, max. width: 43 cm. Fair condition. Wear, tears and stains.
2. Small Mantle, knitted, with fabric lining, in blue and white. [Israel, mid 20th century].
Two light blue stripes are knitted along the mantle and in its front - a Star of David. Name of the knitter appears on the stripe: "Diza Bat Noah veMiriam". Height: 49 cm, max. width: 37 cm. Fair condition, wear, unraveling and stains.
