Three silver amulets. [Persia or Kurdistan, late 19th or early 20th century].
Silver, soldered and engraved.
1. Round arm amulet, slightly convex. Engraved Hebrew inscriptions: abbreviations of Psalms 121 (Shir LaMa'a lot), the priestly benediction, and more. Diameter 6.5 cm.
2. Amulet designed as a stylized leaf, with suspension loops on top. Engraved Hebrew inscriptions: abbreviation of "Ana BeKoa'ach" (around), and a crossword with the letters עשציי. In the center appears another combination of Hebrew letters (forming 15 in gematria), and more. Name of the bearer of the amulet: "Bat Sheva Bat Zeruya". Length: 7.5 cm, width: 8 cm. Lacking one suspension loop.
3. Round amulet with a serrated edge. Suspension loops on top. Engraved Hebrew inscriptions: abbreviation of "Ana BeKo'ach". Diameter: 8 cm.
