1. Der austritt aus der gemeinde, by Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch. Frankfurt am Main, 1876. German.
First edition of the pamphlet in which Rabbi Hirsch published his well-known concept supporting separation between orthodox and reform congregations. Rabbi Bamberger opposed decisively Hirsch's attitude and instructed his disciples to adhere to the general congregations as long as the religious needs of the orthodox are answered.

2. Two publications by Rabbi Yitzhak Dov Bamberger, written in response to Rabbi Hirsch's stance regarding separation of the Orthodox community from the Reform community. Rabbi Bamberger was a firm oppose of Rabbi Hirsch's approach and instructed his followers to remain members of the general communities as long as they are given freedom of religion.
