Bibliophile edition of the Song of Songs, with linocuts by artist Mordechai Beck. The text was printed in the "Shir" Hebrew gont, designed by Pludwinski in 1998, in order to "create a more rhythmical letter-form for the characters of the Hebrew Aleph-Bet for use in lyrical texts". Copy no. 142 of 510 copies (the gematria of the Hebrew word "Shir" – song.) Signed by Beck and Pludwinski in the colophon.
Enclosed is a booklet with the JPS English translation of the text – both volume and booklet are placed in a fine, custom-made, wooden case.
