Small Hanukkah lamp. [North Africa, 19th century].
Brass sheet, cut, punched and engraved; cast brass.
Lamp for hanging, with backplate shaped as an arch, ornamented with vegetal and geometric patterns. Catch basin for dripping oil. Cast oil fonts with two spouts, hanging on bulges attached to backplate. An opening for Shamash in the center of backplate (Shamash missing).
Height: 18 cm, max. width: 14 cm, max. depth: 6.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Breaks and bends, Shamash missing.
