Eight sketches for "Megilat Esther drawn by S. Ben David, Jerusalem, Bezalel", printed in lithographic printing in Jerusalem (ca. 1930), in a 15 cm. format. Size of sketches - 23 cm.
*Six accurate and neat sketches. Most probably this is the last version which was used for printing the Megilah. Sephardi scribe scripture and illustrations in ink on heavy paper of good quality. Signed "Ben David". One missing leaf, [12] columns instead of [14] columns: [6] leaves 34 cm. Good condition.
*Sketch for the first leaf's frame, Ahasuerus banquet. Ink and pencil on paper. Not signed. No text. Leaf 34 cm. Good condition. Comment handwritten in pencil.
*Sketch in color of the first leaf frame, Ahasuerus banquet. Ink and water color on paper. Not signed. A version somewhat different from the other ones and from the printed version of the Megilah. 26X25 cm, leaf 36 cm. Good condition. Stains, tears at borders of leaf.
