Sir Basil Liddell Hart, two letters bearing his signature, addressed to Amikam Gurewitz. England, 1966-1967.
Sir Basil Henry Liddell Hart (1895-1970), famous British military strategist and historian, sent those letters to Amikam Gurewitz, Palmach member, journalist and owner of a publishing house as a response to Gurewitz’s request to write a foreword to Israel Bar’s last book. Israel Bar was a military historian who had been convicted as a spy and died in his cell. (The book was published in Hebrew by Amikam Gurewitz Publishing).
