The first part in this set is a variant (with several differences in comparison to other known copies).
Without part III (Orach Chaim, laws of Eruvin, sections 345-428), and without Mahadura Batra and Kuntres Acharon at the end of Part II.
Five volumes. Part I (Orach Chaim, part I): [59], 57-136, [103] leaves. Variant: this volume contains 2 additional leaves after the title page, with the foreword by the author's sons. Part II (Orach Chaim, part II): [1], 101, 104-128; 58 leaves. Lacking leaves 102-103, and 66 final leaves, with Mahadura Batra and Kuntres Acharon (these 66 leaves may have been included in some copies only). Part IV (Orach Chaim, part IV): 112, 121-193 leaves. Lacking title page. Part V (Yoreh De'ah): [228] leaves. Part VI (Choshen Mishpat): [56] leaves.
Approx. 18-19 cm. Condition varies, good-fair to fair. Stains, including dampstains. Tears to several leaves, repaired in part with paper. Small open tear to title page of Part V, affecting text. Worming. Significant worming to one volume, with extensive damage to text. Stamps and handwritten inscriptions in several volumes. New bindings.
