Shoshanat Ha-Amakim and the Emek Ha-Sidim, sermons and eulogies by Rabbi Moshe son of Rabbi Yehuda Halevi Horowitz, Av Beit Din of Wolotschisk. Korets, [1819].
Ten sermons preached by the author between the years 1814-1818. On leaves 156-157 it is written “Sermon by… Rabbi Nathan, Av Beit Din of Berditchov”, on leaf 157 and in the introduction, the author mentions his close friend Rabbi “Moshe Yitzchak Av Beit Din of Czortkow”.
The author is the son and replacing of Rabbi Aryeh Yehudah Leib Av-Beit-Din of Volochysk, a great disciple of the Maggid of Mezritch, who moved at an old age to Safed. (See attached material). In this book, some of his writings are based on the leading Chassidim: Rabbi Elimelech from Lejansk and Rabbi Yisrael of Tcharnystrow, son of Rabbi Zusha from Anipoli. The Malbim was among his disciples.
