"Shiviti" with Tablets of the Law, painting on glass, attributed to Moshe Ben Yitzchak Mizrahi (Shah). Signed and dated "…Yerushalem…1902…Moshe Ben Yitzchak Mizrahi".
Oil paint and silver foil on glass.
Tablets of the Law appear in the center, with the Ten Commandments. Upper ends of the tablets and the space between them are decorated with flowers. Around the tablets appears a large gate supported by two columns topped with flower vases. Inscribed on the gate: "VeZot HaTorah Asher…" with a large Torah Crown below it, surrounded by flowering branches and topped with a Star of David. Artist's signature on the base of the columns: "…Yerushalem…Moshe ben Yitzchak Mizrahi".
60X48 cm. Fair-good condition. Some breaks to glass. Paint stains. Framed. Unexamined out of frame.
