Seven postcards with portraits of rabbis and greetings for Rosh Hashanah. Breslau: S. Schottlaender, [late 19th or early 20th century].
Each postcard features a fine portrait set in a decorative border – portraits of R. Akiva Eger, R. Shimon Sofer, R. Yehonatan Eybeschutz, R. Naftali Katz, R. Avraham Tiktin, R. Aryeh Leib Breslau and R. Dov Berish Meisels. Next to the portraits, greetings for Rosh Hashanah (one postcard without greeting).
The postcards were sent by mail in the early 20th century; brief letters in various languages. Addresses and postmarks on verso.
7 postcards. 9X4 cm. Overall good-fair condition. Stains and wear.
