The graphic artist Otte Wallish (1903-1977) designed, among other things, the "Hebrew Mail" stamps as well as other stamps, Israeli coins and bills, and it is possible that he himself is the person who wrote the Israeli Proclamation of Independence.
All items bear Wallish's signature.
