Sefer Kav Naki, on "sidrei Gittin" and "Hilchot Gittin", by Rabbi Avraham David Lavut. Warsaw: Nathan Schriftgiesser, 1868. First edition.
Long autograph dedicatory inscription on title page, signed by the Author - R. Avraham David Lavut (1815-1890; forefather of the Lubavitcher Rebbe), rabbi of Nikolayev and a prominent Chabad rabbi. He was a close disciple of the Tzemach Tzedek of Lubavitch and his son, the Rebbe Maharash.

At the end of the present copy is bound a bibliographically unknown corrections' leaf, which is not listed in the Bibliography of the Hebrew book, not bound to the copy held by the NLI, and does not appear in other copies examined by us. The present corrections' leaf is also not identical to the corresponding leaf, found in the Odessa 1870 edition.
