Sefer HaZohar, Bereshit, Shmot, Vayikra, Bamidbar-Dvarim. Zhitomir, 1863. Printed by the brothers Rabbi Hanina Lipa and Rabbi Yehoshua Heshel Shapiro, grandsons of the holy Rabbi of Slavita.
3 volumes: [4], 251 leaves, 1 (missing: last 16 leaves); [1], 278 leaves; 115, [1], 117-309, 9 leaves. 22.5 cm. Thick paper, wide margins. Poor condition, many moth holes. Few stains. Detached leaves. Signs of wear on first leaves of Vayikra section. Original leather bindings with gold engravings, bindings severely damaged.
(Glued upon the bindings are bookplates containing the inscription of Yosef Baruch Fibko, with an illustration of a family tree of the Hassidic giants – Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk, Rabbi Naftali of Rofshitz, the Ma’or V’Shemesh and the Holy Shlah).
