Handwritten inscription on the title pages of both volumes.
Poetic ownership inscription on the front endpaper, signed by R. Eizik Nördlingen, eldest brother of R. Yosef Yuzpa Nördlingen author of Yosef Ometz. Additional ownership inscription.
Several glosses in Ashkenazic script.
Two books in one volume. Responsa of the Maharik: [12], 171, [1] leaves. Responsa of the Ralbach: [4], 209, [1], 328 leaves. Lacking final two leaves of errata. Extra copies of leaves 289 and 294. Leaves 290 and 293 (marked 286) provided from a different copy (detached, cut differently). 30 cm. Condition varies, first book in fair-good condition, second book in overall good condition. Stains, including dampstains and traces of past dampness, with mold to many leaves of first book. Tears, including tears to title page of first book, affecting border and text. Worming. Faded stamps. Early wood and leather binding, with clasp remnants. Wear and defects to binding, tear to spine.
