A poster issued by the government of the German Emperor, most probably right after the occupation of Vilnius by the Germans (from Russia). Vilnius, 1915. Four languages (Yiddish, German, Polish and Lithuanian).
The poster details all the items and material (mainly metals) that civilians are obliged to return to the army, and get paid, according to the tariff appearing on the poster. According to the poster, those who will keep military items or materials which have not been handed to the army are subject to a fine of 5,000 Marcs or two years in prison. 86X58 cm. Mounted on acid-free paper and professionally restored. Small open tears on corners, margins and folds, no damage to text.
