Heinrich Gottselig (1884-1935), painter, illustrator and printmaker. Born in Oświęcim, Poland. Studied at the School of Applied Arts of Frankfurt and at the Städelschule Academy of Fine Arts. As a prominent portrait artist in Frankfurt, Gottselig painted the portraits of prominent writers, intellectuals and musicians.
