The booklet from which the engraving was taken includes an early testimony on Sabbatai Zevi and his conversion to Islam (Gershom Scholem attributed the writing of the booklet to the Jesuit priest Jacques Becherand; however, this assumption was rejected by Prof. Shlomo Simonsohn).
