Passover Seder plate. Carlsbad, Czechoslovakia, 1911.
Porcelain (white glaze); text and ornamentations in gold and purple. Marked on the reverse with manufacturer's mark.
Wavy rim, with gold decorations, with vegetal and geometric patterns. The fifteen "Simanim" of the Seder are inscribed in golden ink, and the inscription "Next Year in Jerusalem" (Hebrew) appears in the center of the plate (the word "Jerusalem" is in the center of a Star of David), as well as the location and year.
Diameter: 32.5 cm. Good condition. Some golden decorations are worn.
