The author, Johannis Leusden (1624-1699) - Dutch Theologian and Hebrew language researcher from the Utrecht University, Hebrew Language Professor, one of the greatest Bible experts of his time, published several books about the Bible.
Two big engravings on the opening of the book. Latin and Hebrew, with handwritten remarks (Hebrew and Latin) on the leaves’ margins.
[2 plates], [14], 440, 56 pages, 20 cm. Good condition. Few stains, ink inscriptions, few slightly loose leaves, restored tears.
