Pentateuch, Five Megilot and Haftarot. Venice, [1588-1589].
At the end of the Haftarot, it says: “Haftarot as customary in Italian congregations – these are the Simanim for the Haftarot, on which Italian congregations have differed from Ashkenazi and Sephardic communities”.
Printed in Rashi letters, with punctuation at the end of the verses, but without chapters and verses markings, except for the Five Megilot which do have chapter markings (separate title pages for the Five Megilot and Haftarot).
Miniature volume.
2-162; 22, [2]; 60 leaves, (Pentateuch title page is missing). 9.5 cm. Good condition. Some detached leaves. Few stains. Fine, antique leather binding [Original?]. Worn binding, missing clasp.
