Pass – Passport issued by the Deutsche Verwaltung im Gebiet des Oberbefehlshabers Ost [German administration in Ober-Ost]. Lithuania, 1917. German and Yiddish.
Passport, printed in German and Yiddish (with details filled in by hand) issued by the German administration in Ober-Ost (occupied territory which was under the rule of the German Empire in World War I. Included in this territory were: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belarus, as well as areas in Poland and Courland).
The passport bears the owner's photograph and her fingerprint and is ink-stamped "Verwaltungsgebiet Litauen" [Administration in Lithuania] alongside other ink-stamps.
[4] leaves, 15 cm. Good condition. Stains (some dark), creases, pinholes and slight defects.
