Ketubah recording the marriage of the groom Eliyahu son of Nechemya, with the bride Esther daughter of David. Kouilvatam, Ernakulam, India, Adar Rishon 1921. Ketubah, tradition of the Cochin Jewish community. At the top part of the ketubah are verses and blessings for the bride and groom inside a frame, illustrated with flowers, branches and leaves. Among the flowers are three illustrations of roosters.
