"Mizrah" with a depiction of the Dome of the Rock - a papercut created by Yehudit Shadur. Signed (In Hebrew and English) and dated, 1972.
Papercut; pasted golden paper.
"Mizrah". On four corners appears the inscription "Mitzad Zeh Ruach Chaim" (from this direction comes the spirit of life - in Hebrew, the initials of Mizrah). In the center appears the Dome of the Rock surrounded by the inscription "A'ale et Yerushalayim al Rosh Simchati". Around the dome appear trees, gates, walls, houses and towers with turrets. On the lower part appear a seven-branched Menorah, two vases with plants and two deer.
32.5X42.5 cm. Good condition. Framed (unexamined out of frame).
