Torah finials. Lvov, 19th century.
Sawn impressed silver. Stamped (several times): "DF", emblem of Diana's Head with the numeral 3 and the letter F (representing the city of Lvov).
Both ends of the stems are covered with leaf-shaped ornamentation; the upmost end is shaped like a flattened marble. The finials are made of two styled disks with a pole passing through their centers. They are decorated with six impressive lions holding the uppermost disk in their front paws and the bottom disk in their back paws. At the top of finials is another decoration – lions holding the Tablets of Law, on the Tablets is a Star of David.
