A large album illustrated with twelve photographs from Jerusalem and Palestine – the Dome of the Rock, Gethsemane, the Mount of Olives, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Jaffa as seen from the sea, Hebron and elsewhere, alongside twelve arrangements of pressed flowers. Nine of the photographs are signed in the plate: Hamböck.
Fine olivewood binding. The inscription "Jerusalem" is printed on the front board both in Hebrew and Latin characters, surrounded by a wood marquetry border. Identical wood marquetry border on back board.
[13] ff., approx. 21X28 cm. Good condition. Some stains. Creases and several small tears to edges. Blemishes to flower arrangements. One leaf detached. Some tissue guards detached or partly detached. Binding partly detached, with blemishes and small fractures to edges.

1. Album a Fleurs de la Terre Sainte, a rare copy of the folio edition, with 24 arrangements of pressed flowers. Olivewood binding with a carved frame and color marquetry borders, the Jerusalem cross on front and the inscription "Jerusalem" (in Hebrew and in Latin characters) printed on the back.

The cards are captioned in French, Russian and English; some also in Italian. Attached to inside boards, parts of the paper cover in which the cards were sold (damaged), with the title and publisher's name: "Souvenir de Jerusalem, No. 1, Boulos Meo, Jerusalem". Cards arranged on the leaves of the album using mounting corners.

Arrangements of pressed flowers (the names of the flowers are printed in Hebrew and German) alongside poems referring to each flower (mainly from Psalms and the Prophets, but also poems of Rabbi Yehuda Halevi). Two title pages, in Hebrew and German, printed in gold (following the German title page is a short German poem by Heinrich Heine).
