Two small albums with arrangements of pressed flowers and poems. Palestine, [late 19th century / early 20th century]. Hebrew.
1. "Al Shoshanim, Shirei Yedidut Miyerushalayim Lebaneha". Jerusalem: Z. [Ze'ev] Yavetz, [late 19th century?].
Arrangements of pressed flowers (the names of the flowers are printed in Hebrew and German) alongside poems referring to each flower (mainly from Psalms and the Prophets, but also poems of Rabbi Yehuda Halevi). Two title pages, in Hebrew and German, printed in gold (following the German title page is a short German poem by Heinrich Heine).
Bound in a fine olivewood binding with a third title page (presumably, the binding and this title page belonged to another album of flowers). On the front board, a color wood marquetry border with the inscription "Jerusalem" in Hebrew and Latin characters.
[14] ff., 10.5X15.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains. Minor blemishes to margins. New endpaper at the end of the album.
2. "Flowers of the Holy Land". Poems by Shneur Zalman Eliezer Ginzburg. Jerusalem: Aron Zwebner, [1900?].
