Three postcards with group photographs of Jews:
1. "Jedenelend" [Jewish Suffering]. [Germany? ca. 1900-1901]. An undivided postcard depicting a photograph of a group of Romanian Jews around their friend's body, and their story (in German): the members of the group were arrested in the city of Jassy for loitering and were banished to the other side of the Turkish border; the Turkish refused to let them in and the soldiers of the Romanian border guard threw them in response into the Danube. The Turks drew them from the water, yet one of them drowned and another lost his mind.
On the upper part of the postcard, a quote by Petre Carp, the Romanian Prime Mister in the early 20th century, who supported equal rights for Jews: "We live in an era in which we can no longer throw Jews into the water".
2. "Russian Mizrachi Members - Russische Misrahi-Gruppe". Vienna: "Zion", [ca. 1902]. An undivided postcard depicting a group photograph of the participants of the Founding Conference of "HaMizrachi" Movement in Vilnius. Rabbi Yitzchak Ya'akov Reines is seen in the center.
3. "The 'Magen David' gymnasium and elementary school of Chisinau". Chisinau, Lag BaOmer 1922. A photographed postcard with a group photograph of the students of the gymnasium and school of the Haredi community of Chisinau. On verso of the postcard appears the stamp of the school.
Approx. 14x9 cm. Good overall condition. A few blemishes and stains, mainly on postcard no. 3.
The verso of the postcards is printed upside down.

Lehrer-Orientfahrten [A Teachers' Tour to the East], four postcards with photographs documenting visits of groups of teachers from Germany to the Temple Mount. Germany: J. Bolthausen, Solingen, [ca. first decade of the 20th century]. German.
Four postcards with group photographs that were taken on Temple Mount during tours for German teachers conducted by the guide Julius Bolthausen.
On verso of one of the postcards appears a list of the participants.
During the years 1901-1932, Bolthausen organized approx. 86 tours from Germany to Palestine and the East. The postcards before us document the 9th, 10th, 11th and 20th tours.
One postcard is undivided.
9x14 cm. Good condition. A few stains. One postcard was sent by mail.

A binder with 20 postcards with photographs of soldiers of the Jewish battalions, among them: the commander of the Jewish Battalion Colonel Paterson; reading the Torah at camp; a group of soldiers on the shore of Jaffa; a soldier on guard on the shore of Haifa; guarding the bridge on the Kishon River, and more.
Binder: approx. 15.5x9 cm. Good condition. Minor blemishes. Tears to the edge of one of the postcards, reinforced by tape. Creases and minor blemishes to cover.

"The Dead-Sea and Surrounding" – Postcard Binder. Jerusalem: J. Bendow, [1920s]. Cover designed by Ze'ev Raban.
A binder with a dozen of postcards with photographs of views of the Dead-Sea and its surroundings, among them: Elisha Spring in Jericho, a bridge on the Jordan River, the lakes of the Dead-Sea, and more.
The picture on the cover of the binder, created by Ze'ev Raban, depicts Lot's wife turning into a pillar of salt.
Binder: approx. 15x9 cm. Good condition. The tissue guards are made of different papers. A few stains. Stains and blemishes to cover.
