The title "Machlul neighborhood, last palpitations by Menachem Talm[i]" appears on one photo. 1965, 1967. The photos are titled, dated and stamped with the photographer's stamp on verso.
15-19. Photographs from the Shevut Yam transit camp (Beit Lid), described as "Mother of transit camps" on the verso of some of them. The photos are bound in an album with the emblem of the Southern Command embossed on its front cover. Apparently, the album was prepared as a gift from the command.

During the 1950s-60s IDF assaulted bases and settlements from which came Fadayeens who infiltrated Israeli areas. The operations were a response to assassinations by the Fadayeens and their goal was to create deterrence and prevent future attacks. The photographs document different operations: "Operation Shoshana" in Qibya (October 1953), "Operation Samaria" in Qalqiliya (October 1956), "Operation Zuk Sela" in Khirbet Shuna (May 1956), The operation in the village Samu in Mount Hebron (November 1966) and other operations.
Most photographs portray soldiers on their way to operations, during operations or upon return. Among the photographs: * Photographs of the villages Qibya, A-Samu and Shuna demolished after attacks. * Several aerial photographs, among them one depicting the destruction in the village of A-Samu after an operation by IDF and a photograph showing the downing of a Jordanian military fighter aircraft during the raid on the village A-Samu. * A group photograph portraying the Chief of Staff Moshe Dayan with Unit 101 fighters: Ariel Sharon, Meir Har-Zion, Dany Matt, Raphael Eitan and others, one day after "Operation Egged", October 1955. * And more.

The photographs depict, among others: "Chargol" helicopters (Sikorsky S-58) during flights (bringing in soldiers, aerial photographs and more); Guard posts near villages; prisoners in imprisonment facilities; residents watched by IDF soldiers; confiscated weapons; a photograph documenting, presumably, an investigation facility – a trapdoor with a rope attached to a ring above the door; and more.
About 90 photographs are arranged in the album and the others are loose. On the back of one photograph appears a pen inscription: "Above the town of Tubas".
Photographs: approx. 10X7 cm. Good overall condition. Album: approx. 31 cm. Markings in color-pencil to some of the album leaves.

Eleven large press photographs, documenting the results of IDF operation "Tshura". Beirut, 1968.
Operation "Tshura", in December 1968, by Special Forces commando units of IDF (Sayeret Matkal and paratroopers), was a response to a number of attacks on "El-Al" airplanes in the same year. Since the attackers were trained and sent from Lebanon, it was decided to attack the Beirut International Airport. On the night of 28.12.1968 a force commanded by Raphael Eitan landed in Beirut and bombed fourteen airplanes belonging to Lebanese airlines.
The photographs document scenes from the attack and from the following day: a burning passenger airplane, a fighter aircraft flying over the airport, destroyed airplanes and equipment and more.
Press information notes (English) are pasted to the back of the photographs, alongside ink-stamps of news agencies: Associated Press Photo and United Press International (UK) Ltd.

Nineteen press photographs documenting the hijacking of a TWA flight from the United States to Athens by members of the Popular Front. [London, 1969].
On August 29, 1969, a TWA aircraft was hijacked by two members of the Popular Front. 7 crew members and 120 passengers were on board, among them six Israelis. Most of the hostages were released right after landing in Damascus except for two Israelis who were imprisoned in a Syrian prison for more than three months, until their release as part of a prisoner exchange deal.
Among the photographs: hostages held in Damascus airport, a passenger carried by another passenger after their release, press conferences after the release, family members of the Israeli hostages, and more.
Press information notes (English) are pasted on the back of the photographs alongside ink-stamps of press agencies.
