Etrog Box. Jerusalem, beginning of 20th century. Carved and inlaid olive wood; printing. Octagonal box. Colorfor inlay at corners. On the front model of Western Wall, with writing: "Jerusalem" and “Western Wall”. On other sides are illustrations of holy places: “Temple site”, “Yad Absalom”, “Prophet Zechariah” and “Our Mother Rachel”. Relief ornament on lid: an open book decorated with branches, on it is printed the blessing “On taking the Lulav”, and “Sheheyanu blessing”. Writing in a frame on the lid: And you shall take on the first day fruit of a fine tree ..and you shall rejoice seven days”. Height: 9 cm. Width: 16 cm. Damage to the colorful inlay and to wood, lid partly detached.
