The Ga'on Rabbi Yitzchak Moshe Perels (1784-1854) was the author of "Bayit Ne'eman". He was the disciple of Rabbi Meshulam Igra and Rabbi Yoseph of Posen. He was the Rabbi of Bonehad (Hungary), which he left in his last year when the winds of the Reform movement started to blow. The Ktav Sofer eulogized him:
"The famous righteous ga'on Rabbi Moshe Perels Av-Beit-Din in Bonehad. We have lost a beautiful gem. He had mastered all of Shas and Poskim, learned in depth, was a true tzaddik, he stood fast against insurgence, he brought merit to many people and raised up numerous disciples." ("Ktav Sofer", Sermons and Articles, Jerusalem 1972, page 203).
His son Rabbi Meir Perels (1811-1894) was Av-Beit-Din in Karaly and was an outstanding rabbi. He was a disciple of his father and of the "Chatam Sofer".
