Novellae on Maimonides – Hilchot Trumot, Yerushalmi – Ma'aser Sheni, and topics from Tractate Kiddushin. Drafts of letters to Rabbi Z. R. Bengis (comments to his book LiPlugot Reuven, Part Six – Jerusalem 1940). Original handwriting, with corrections of content and style, and additions added over the years.
22x16 cm. Nearly 40 written pages, very good condition, original and complete binding, detached from notebook.
The world-renowned Rabbi Shalom Zalman Auerbach (1910-1995) was rosh yeshiva of Kol Torah and one of the generation's leading halachic authorities. In his youth, he maintained contact with Rabbi Bengis, who served as Rabbi of the Eda Charedit of Jerusalem.
