The author R. Shimon Deutsch Ashkenazi Rabbi of Dobromyl (d. 1801), a holy Torah scholar, foremost disciple of R. Elimelech of Lizhensk. Held in high esteem by Chassidic leaders, his Torah thoughts are quoted reverently in the writings of great Chassidic. He exchanged halachic correspondence with leading rabbis of his times, leaving behind many compositions in manuscript form, which were all destroyed in a fire after his passing.

Worming, affecting text and border, repaired with paper. Tears and open tears, affecting text, repaired in part with paper. Leaves trimmed with damage to title page border, text and headings in several places. Stamp. New leather binding.
