A medal commemorating Louise von Mecklenburg-Strelitz (1776-1810), Queen of Prussia. Germany, 1810.
Obverse: Portrait of the queen and the artist's signature – "LOOS" [Daniel Friedrich Loos], surrounded by a German legend with dates of her birth and wedding. Reverse: Soil with a coffin on it and an eagle, coat of arms of Prussia. Seen in the sky are clouds and a flame surmounted by the Tetragrammaton spreading beams of light. A German legend – "Aus Der Erde Nebel Zurück Zum Ewigen Licht" and the date of the queen's death.
