On one side of the amulet, in a round frame, is written (in Hebrew): “This child shall grow up for [Torah] wedding and good deeds”. Large letter in the center and in it a flowering branch. On the second side a pair of miniature fish and an inscription [very rubbed, illegible. Originally: May it be the will to save the baby of the People of Israel that it shall not get diphtheria, and that they should grow up for Your Torah and protect them in Your mercy, Amen].
