Rabbi Yosef Mashash (Otzar Harabbanim 8448), was born in Morocco in 1892 and died in Haifa in 1974. Served as chief rabbi of Tlemcen Algeria at the age of 31, and afterwards as Dayan in Meknes. Was decorated by the King of Morocco. Made Aliya to Israel in 1964 and served as chief rabbi of Haifa until his death.
