Manuscript, responsum and novellae by Rabbi Mordechai Benet. Various issues, part of them complete and part of them are sections of a whole issue.
The Ga'on Rabbi Mordechai Bennet (1753-1829) Of Nikolsburg and Chief Rabbi of Moravia. Many of the leading rabbis were his disciples and followed his instructions. Writings of his novellae were edited by him together with his disciples (Rabbi Shmuel Katz and others). Herewith are leaves from those manuscripts, partially in his own handwriting and partially copied by his disciples and family members (his grandson author of "Beit Yitzchak") and they bear glosses in his handwriting. On one of the leaves is his signature "Mordechai Benet".
[39] leaves, various sizes. Fair to good condition. Many leaves are damaged, restored professionally. Part of the leaves were bound out of place or up-side-down. New leather binding.
