The author's own handwriting from various periods, different spellings (by the same writer). The articles in the notebook are not categorized according to topic, but according to date when delivered or written.
Ink stamp of Rabbi Meir Stallewicz Av Bet Din of Shebiz and Av Bet Din of Chaslewicz. Rabbi Meir Stallewicz (1870-1949, Otzar Harabbanim 12917), of the leading Rabbis of Lithuania and Russia, and then of the leading Rabbis of Jerusalem. Studied under Rabbi Alexander Shlomo Lapidot, served in the Rabbinate of various towns, including Shebiz (provincial capital of the Vitebsk region) and Chaslewicz. In 1932 emigrated to Jerusalem and was appointed Rabbi of the Zichron Moshe neighborhood and its surroundings. Published during his lifetime four volumes of his book "MiBeit Meir – Chikrei Halachot", on assorted themes. [Apparently a large selection of writings from this volume were never printed in his books].
