Manuscript leaf of Torah novellae, autograph in the handwriting of Rabbi Chaim Bezalel Panet. [19th century].
Rabbi Chaim Bezalel Panet Av Beit Din of Tashnad (1802-1873), firstborn son of Rebbe Yechezkel Panet Av Beit Din of Karlsburg, author of “Mareh Yechezkel”. Disciple of the “Chatam Sofer” who was very fond of Rabbi Panet and prepared his shiurim with him. A leading rabbi in his generation. Author of responsa “Derech Yivchar”, “Yam HaRachav” on Tractates Gittin and Chulin, and other books.
One leaf, 23.5 cm. High-quality paper in good condition, stains, creases to margins.
Handwriting is identical to his handwriting photographed in the book HaChatam Sofer V'Talmidav, page 147.
