Notebook of Shtarot, with rental contracts. Fez (Morocco), 1897-1898.
More than 150 shtarot, dated with curly calligraphic signatures of the Dayanim and Torah scholars of Fez: Rabbi Yosef HaLevi Ibn Yuli, Rabbi Shlomo Sassoon, Rabbi Shem Tov Ibn Attar, Rabbi Refael ben Attar, Rabbi David Eliyahu Harush.
At the beginning of the notebook is an index of the names of the tenants (approximately 150 names of Fez residents at the end of the 19th century).
Some leaves have tears on the signatures, cancelling the shtar. On a few shtarot, the signatures are torn off.
