Likutei Halachot on Tractates Zevachim, Menachot, Tamid, Temurah and Me'ilah, by R. Yisrael Meir HaKohen – the Chafetz Chaim. Piotrkow, [ca. 1930].
A copy from which R. Avraham Yeshayahu Karelitz, the Chazon Ish, studied. Two inscriptions handwritten by the Chazon Ish (correcting printing errors), one on the title page and one on p. 11a.
Inscription on p. 5a: "Ish" (we were unable to determine if this is the signature of the Chazon Ish).
The Chazon Ish refrained from quoting contemporary halachic authorities. An exception to that was the Chafetz Chaim, whom he quotes extensively, considering his rulings to be definitive just like those of the Beit Yosef and the Magen Avraham.
