A Letter by Rebbe Shimon Shalom Kalish of Amshinov, with a letter by his son Rabbi Yerachmiel Yehuda Meir. Brooklyn, Nissan 1954.

Rabbi Shimon Shalom Kalish (1883-1954), Rebbe of Amshinov, author of Mashmea Shalom, served as Rebbe from 1898 and was renowned as one of the great Rebbes of Poland. His son, Rabbi Yerachmiel Yehuda Meir (1901-1976), ohev Yisrael and humble, served Hashem with all his heart. He immigrated to Eretz Yisrael in 1954, and after a short while he established the Amshinov Yeshiva in Jerusalem. His daughter's son is Rebbe Ya'akov Milkovsky, the current Amshinov Rebbe.
