Letter from Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneersohn – the Lubavitcher Rebbe, with his signature. Brooklyn NY, 16th Sivan 1955.
Typewritten on the official stationery of the rebbe, with his signature.

Sent to Zurich to R. Yitzchak Gerstenkorn, founder and first mayor of Bnei Brak, author of Ne'im Zemirot Yisrael on the book of Tehillim and other books.
The rebbe begins with blessings: "As he requested, I will mention all those he wrote about at the gravesite… and him in particular for success in his matters and in disseminating the study and recital of Tehillim amongst the closest circles". The rebbe asks him to notify him of the date of his visit to Europe, so that he can write to Chabad Chassidim to assist him on his trip: "Although it is unnecessary to urge them – since I know their generosity and readiness to help in such matters".
At the end of his letter, the rebbe denies the rumor of his prospective visit to England, and writes: "The rumor he heard that I will be visiting England is false, since at the moment I have never been there, and it is not my plan to be there in the coming summer as he was told".

The present letter was not published in Igrot Kodesh of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
