Approbation for the book Gan Hadasim, and recommendation of its author – R. Moshe Netanel Potschowsky, whom he praises for his extensive Torah knowledge and fear of G-d. R. Mordchele also explains the importance of printing and distributing the books, and blesses all those who assist in this holy task.
R. Mordechai Weizel Rosenblatt – known as R. Mordchele of Oshmiana (1837-1916) served as dayan and rabbi in various cities, including Oshmiana and Slonim. A leader of his generation, outstanding Torah scholar and posek, he was renowned in Lithuania as a kabbalist and wonder-worker, whose blessings were known to be fulfilled.
