Leaf from the ledger of one of the charity funds in Jerusalem, with handwritten confirmation of the receipt of funds, signed by elder Tzaddikim and Chassidim in Jerusalem, including: R. Zelig'l of Kelm (brother-in-law of the Alter of Novardok), the kabbalist R. Meir Schwartz Rabbi of Podhaitz, R. Yehuda Moshe Thieberg (later Rebbe of Alexander) and others. Jerusalem, 1937.

R. Meir Schwartz (1859-1953), disciple of R. Yitzchak Eizik of Zidichov and the Imrei Yosef of Spinka. Rabbi of Podhaitz (Pidhaitsi, Galicia) until his immigration to Jerusalem in 1927. A prominent kabbalist and wonder-worker. His manuscript works were lost after the fall of the Old city in the War of Independence.
Rebbe Yehuda Moshe Thieberg-Danziger of Alexander (1893-1973), author of Emunat Moshe. Immigrated to Eretz Israel before the Holocaust. After WWII, he was appointed by the remaining Chassidim as rebbe of Alexander.
R. Yehoshua Zelig HaLevi Tarshish – "R. Zelig'l Kelemer" (1862-1939), renowned Tzaddik and wonder-worker in Lithuania. Rabbi of Kurtuvenai, and later lecturer in the yeshiva of his brother-in-law R. Yozel Horowitz Alter of Novardok in Berditchev. He later left this position and devoted his life to prayer and Torah study. Settled in Jerusalem in his final years, and published the Ein Tarshish series on the Talmud.
